Stories on the 'Net:
- Immortals at the Old 1-2 and Blackout by Rob Morris.
Humorous crossover stories with Highlander and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
- A Voice in the Dark by thunderian settiai. A touching missing scene from the aired episode "The Tunnel," describing Wojo's thoughts when he is trapped in the cave-in. (Also available in the Yahoo Group files section.)
- Blackout Night by Angilbas. Law & Order crossover in the online fanzine Apocrypha; offers an interesting perspective on Lennie Brisco's pre-sobriety days, told from Harris's point of view.
- If you join the Barney Miller Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BarneyMiller/, there are several stories in the Files area, including Bright Lights, Big Kitty and A Voice in the Dark. There is also a very enjoyable work-in-progress entitled "Reunion"; once complete, it will have the distinction of being the only full-length Barney Miller story that is not a crossover!
Slash Stories
Stories in Printzines:
- A Suspicious Commodity by Natasha Barry. Dyad 2.
- Nocturne by Amedia. Awakenings 7, May 2001.
- On and Off by Amedia. Southern Hospitality, August 2001.
- Whatever You Say and The Last Word by Python. Diverse Doings 8, November 2001.
- In Flamingo Delicto, Stress Relief, and Once and Future by Amedia. Diverse Doings 9, May 2002.
- In Pieces by Python. Diverse Doings 10, November 2002.
Stories on the 'Net:
- Amedia's stories are now available on the 'Net.
- Cimmerian Willow has written some terrific Barney Miller slash fiction. Some of her stories made me laugh out loud; others made me blink very fast and say, "I don't cry at fanfiction. (sniff)"
- Love is in the Air is a humorous snippet by Castalia, Cimmerian Willow's beta reader, written "in honor of the wonder that is Dietrich/Harris."
- The Python's Lair is the home of the first Barney Miller Internet slash fiction that I ever found. Python is the only writer I know who writes pairings other than Harris/Dietrich! Her Wojo/Dietrich/Harris piece "Uniform Nights" is a stitch, while her H/D story "Just Hold Your Horses" is delightfully erotic.
- NEW!Off Duty by Keikokin is a sexy, sweet, & funny double-drabble.
